During her first year at university, Emma moved into a new apartment and needed to furnish it. One of the essential purchases was a mattress.
A few months later, Emma realized she had been sleeping exceptionally well on her new mattress. When her brother Thibault visited her, she shared how satisfied she was with her sleep, attributing it to the quality of the mattress.
Curious, Thibault asked where it was from, and Emma replied, “It’s a mattress from EMMA Sleep.” Impressed and amused, Thibault remarked, “If this mattress is really that good, it should be available to others!”
This brought an idea to life and Emma and Thibault contacted EMMA Sleep to explore the possibility of becoming distributors. They presented the project to BPMED, a bank that supports young entrepreneurs. The bank advisor, already a fan of EMMA mattresses, approved the loan to finance the venture.
